Anita Diane FitzPatrick
Anita was born July 6, 1944 to Robert Joseph and Elizabeth Lewis Hall in South Glens Falls, NY. She passed away with her faithful cocker spaniel, Nancy at her side and surrounded by family. Anita was incredibly gifted when it came to arts and crafts. She could sew, knit, crochet or paint anything. She was especially talented with floral arrangements. She showcased this talent at The Flower Basket in Aberdeen, MS, which she owned for many years with her best friend, Martha Randle. She was also known for her delicious chocolate chip cookies. Anita worked tirelessly at Walmart for over 33 years, the last 12 years spent stocking produce in Milan. She literally put out tons of bananas and potatoes each week.
Anita was a long time resident of Aberdeen, MS until she moved to Medina, TN to be close to her grandchildren, whom she loved to dote on. Those who knew her well called her MsFit or Granny.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bobby Hall. She is survived by her loving children, son Jeff FitzPatrick and son-in-law David Slone, her daughter Tammy Huff and son-in-law Tim. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Katherine E. (Katie) Huff Barton and grand son-in-law Sean, Jonathan T. (Jack) Huff, Dakota FitzPatrick-Slone and her other canine companion, Sally Mae.
A celebration of her life will be held at Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home in Medina, TN on Sunday, March 24 from 2-4 P.M.
