Bessie Ruth Lunsford

Funeral services for Ms. Bessie Ruth (Hays) Lunsford will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Hemann officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, TN. Visitation will be held prior from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

 Ms. Lunsford, 72, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, at her home in Scotts Hill, TN surrounded by her loving family.

 She was born in Milan, TN to the late Truman Harold Hays and Ruth Irene (Branham) Hays. Bessie was retired from Wilson Sporting Goods in Humboldt.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary Lunsford; son, Jeffrey Whitehead; brother, Ronnie Hays; sisters, Judy Branch, Bonnie Reynolds, Lisa Maness, Dora Whitehead, Margie Hays.

 Bessie is survived by her children, Jamie Whitehead, Elizabeth Shoemaker (Don), Bobby Farley (Virginia); grandchildren, Hayden, Hunter, Farah, and Cheyenne Whitehead, Jasmine Terry, Haley Guerra, Breanna Whitehead, Madison Rogers, Nathan Whitehead, Logan Burt, Lane Montgomery, Kylee Goodrich, Kaitlyn Goodrich; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold, Ricky, Willie, Kieth, and Kenneth Hays; sister, Patricia Simmons.

 Those honoring her as pallbearers will be: Timothy Hays, Nathan Whitehead, Russell Guerra, Jonathon Hays, Bobby Farley, and Danny Kelly.
