Mrs. Carolyn Kimbrell

Our loving mother went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 4, 2017. She was our rock. The most giving and loving woman to her children and family. She was always ready and willing to help others. She loved to cook and have a garden and have her family together. Our forever memories will be of our family gatherings on the patio overflowing with food, love, and laughter with family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Don McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Medina.

Mrs. Kimbrell was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Ruby Lemond; husband, George H. Kimbrell; sister, Nell Blankenship; brother, Ted Lemond.

She is survived by her children, Vickie Kimbrell, Barbara Sudbury and husband Larry, Betty Kimbrell, Rita Schultz and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Amy Maness and husband Kent, Jodie Smith and husband Keith, Jonathan DeLaney and wife Shellie, Jason Sudbury and friend Susan Runions; great-grandchildren, Chase Smith, Toni Smith, Alana Maness, Wade Maness, Rachael Sudbury and Kaylan Sudbury.   Great-great-grandchild, Ella Kathryn Sudbury, and a new arrival due in January.  Also her  sister, Wilma McKenzie.

Visitation with the Kimbrell family will be held Friday, September 8, 2017, from 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
