Catherine Louise Morgan Davis

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Davis will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Hunley and Bro. Shane Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery near Medina. Visitation with the Davis family will be held Tuesday from 1 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. Davis, age 88, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020, at her home surround by her loving family.

She was born in Gibson County, TN to the late Charlie Morgan and Lillie Bell Gray Morgan. Catherine was retired from Quaker Oats with 32 years of service and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Jackson. She enjoyed gardening, baking, traveling, flowers, and cats; but she loved God and her family above all.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 69 years, John Dick Davis; daughter, Carol Louise Vance; brothers, Leon, Alfred, and Irvin Morgan, Jr.; sister, Mary Lorene Morgan Epperson.

She is survived by her daughter, Jan Johnson and husband Kevin; brother, Leonard Morgan; sister-in-law, Carol Morgan; grandchildren, Kim (Jeff) Beare, John (Tamika) Vance, Tammy (Shane) Ross, and Matt (Lisa) Smith; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Ross, Corey Williams, Darian (Trent) Knight, Jordan Vance, Anna Beare; great-great-grandchildren, Jace Knight, Waylon Thornhill, Harper Knight, Robert Vance, Oaklyn Thornhill, Carolynn Vance, Quentin Allen, Ryleigh Thornhill.

Pallbearers to serve will be Mark Bland, Dan Morgan, Ralph Morgan, Nickolas Ross, Shane Morgan, Danny Gantt
