Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Isbell will be held at 12 noon on Friday, April 23, 2021 in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Pool officiating. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery near Medina. Visitation with the family will be from 10 A.M. till service time.

Mrs. Isbell, age 90, passed away at her home in Medina on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.  She was born in Centerville, TN to the late John and Nellie Marie Thornton Rivers.  She grew up in the Medina area then married the late Willie Isbell before moving to Chicago, IL to work and raise her family.  After retirement they returned to live in Medina.  Mrs. Isbell was a Member of Medina First Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and Nursery worker.  Marie loved her family, church, flowers, and cooking.

Mrs. Isbell was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Billy Dean Isbell; daughter, Linda Isbell; brother, William Wayne Rivers; sister, Vema Edith Phillips.

She is survived by her nephews, Barry Phillips, Shawn (Carol) Phillips, Steven Rivers; nieces, Jane (Tony) Arevalo, Kathy Sturgess, and Marci Pilz.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Shawn Phillips, Tony Arevalo, Josh Casey, and Steven Rivers.
