Don Edwin Duncan

Funeral services for Mr. Don Duncan will be held in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home in Medina, TN on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 11 A.M. with Pastor Melvin Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery in Cedar Grove, TN.  Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again on Friday from 10 A.M. until service time.

Mr. Duncan, age 74, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a brief illness.

Don was born in Carroll County, TN to Jamie D. Duncan and Linnie (Marie Galey) Gowan Duncan. He attended Lavinia School and spent his entire life living on the family farm. For 42 years, Don worked as a machinist/mechanic for Rockwell/Porter Cable/Pentair/Black and Decker before retiring to spend more time fishing. Also camping, flea marketing, and more fishing. He never met a stranger and loved to talk. Most important in his life was his God and family; especially the grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James Dean “Jim” Duncan.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Ann Myers Duncan; son, Terry Duncan (Carolyn Weber); daughter, Kelly Fields (John); grandchildren, Edward “Lee” Duncan, Ellarose Duncan, and John Calvin Fields; aunt, Mary Jo Duncan.

Pallbearers to serve are: Phillip Boyd, Rondell Boyd, Brent Walters, Dalton Walters, John Fields, Jason Duncan.

Honorary pallbearer: Gary Harris.
