Doris Lenell Cash

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Lenell Cash will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2024, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held prior from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cash, 91, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Gibson County to the late Johnny Weldon and Gladys (Cash) Jackson. Doris graduated from Medina, Class of 1950. She was a member of Medina First Baptist Church for over 50 years and a faithful choir member. For many years she owned Merle Norman Cosmetics in Milan. Doris was well known as the “pie lady” where she excelled in sharing her baking skills with others. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Gina Hamm; brothers, Harold Jackson, Terry Jackson; grandchildren, Autumn Sellers and Jessie Eli Walton.

She is survived by her husband of almost 72 years, Robert Cash; children, Barbara Sellers, Nancy Brewer, Amy Fish (Keith); siblings, Shirley Baird, Brenda Copeland (J. C.), Lynda Kirby (Zan); sister-in-law, Shirley Knierman (Gus); 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
