Dorothy Lanell Hatcher

Funeral services for Mrs. Lanell Hatcher will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Mark McSwain and Bro. Mike Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Hatcher, 88, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at Milan General Hospital.

She was born in Carroll County, TN to the late Otis William Hicks and Fannie Sue (Rollins) Hicks. Lanell had previously worked at ITT in Milan and retired from Milan Special School District. She was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Milan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Clifton “Tip” Hatcher; son-in-law, Stephen Lee Gilley, Sr.

Lanell is survived by her children, Donnie Hatcher and wife Beverly, David Hatcher and wife Charlotte, Kim Gilley; sister, Lois Akin and husband Frankie; grandchildren, Kevin Hatcher and wife Deirdre, Brent Hatcher and wife McKinley, Kristen Keith and husband Jonathan, Brittany Keiser and husband Aaron, Stephen Lee Gilley, Jr. and wife Anisha; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Raelyn, Harper, Rose, Chloe, Olivia, Lucas, Braden, Ella, Jackson, Hatcher, Brooke, Brody, Beck, Sosie, and Steele.
