Edward Clyde Bland

Funeral services for Mr. Edward Bland will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020, from 5 until 8 p.m. and again on Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.

Mr. Bland, 58, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born in Chicago, IL to Clyde Alford Bland and Elaine Dankert Bland. Ed attended Medina High School and has resided in Medina for 53 years.  He worked in various local factories and enjoyed fishing, tinkering on cars, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde in 2009; his wife, Sharon Marie Carter Bland in 2005, and brother, Jimmy Bland.

He is survived by his children, Bridget, Brandon, Luke, and Madison; mother, Elaine Callis and husband William; sisters, Barbara McCain and husband Ruben, Paulette Dahms and husband Ron; brothers, Danny Bland, Charles Bland and wife Barbara; grandchildren, Blake and Hunter; God-daughter, Laney Rollison; several nieces, nephews, and special little buddy, Nathan.
