Emily Robertson Mills

Ms. Emily Mills, 91, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019, at Brookdale Jackson Oaks with her loving family by her side. She was born July 13, 1928, in Gibson Wells, TN to the late Russell Gilbert Robertson and Marie Morris Robertson. Ms. Emily graduated from high school in Clewiston, FL but had spent most of her life living in Humboldt, TN where she worked at Merchant State Bank. She was a member of Northside United Methodist Church in Jackson, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Ray Mills.

She is survived by her children, Belinda Mills Jordan, Thomas Russell Mills and wife Tina; grandchildren, Jacob Jordan and wife Tessa, Frank Jordan, Daniel Jordan, Blake Mills and wife Lisa, Garrett Mills; great-grandchildren, Emma Jordan, Noah Jordan, Alexis Jordan.

In keeping and honoring her wishes, there will not be a formal service. The family will hold a private committal at a later date.

To honor her memory, memorials may be directed to Northside United Methodist Church in Jackson, TN or St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
