Funeral services for Mr. Gene Wilson will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Stutts officiating. Burial will follow in Latham’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Wilson, 79, passed away April 8, 2022, at Maplewood Healthcare in Jackson.

He was born in Aberdeen, MS to the late Herschel and Margaret Owen Wilson. Gene was raised in the local community and was a graduate of Northside High School, Class of 1963. He was retired from auto sales and wholesale auto auctioneer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Coleman Wilson; son, Christopher Coleman Wilson; brother, Jimmy Wilson; sister, Peggy Herriman.

Gene is survived by his brother, Johnny Wilson and wife Linda; sisters, Ann Hatley and Cathy Seat.
