Mr. Harold Johnson

Funeral services for Mr. Harold Johnson, age 89, will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, December 10, 2016, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. John Hatley officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10 am until service time.

Mr. Johnson died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Alexandria Place.

He was born in Heron Lake, Minnesota to the late George and Esther Blom Johnson. Mr. Harold served in WW II in the U.S. Navy; spent his career in the newspaper industry, having retired from The Jackson Sun, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife,Geraldine Loree White Johnson; son, Harold Johnson, Jr.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his daughter, Rene Clement and husband Bill of Arvada, CO; sons, Jim Johnson and wife Shirley of Littleton, CO; Tim Johnson and wife Caroyl of Warner Robbins, GA; Tom Johnson and wife Amy of Medina, TN; brother, George Johnson; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
