Jerry Wayne Pickard

Funeral services for Mr. Jerry W. Pickard will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Dr. Linda Glenn officiating. Entombment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens near McKenzie. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 11 A.M. until service time. 

Mr. Pickard, age 74, passed away surrounded by his family at home on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. 

Jerry was born in Humboldt, TN to G.W. “Dub” Pickard and Thelma Brisintine Pickard. He was the owner and operator of Pickard Trucking Company for many years. When not working, Jerry enjoyed all things cars; whether it was working on them, watching NASCAR, or just enjoying their beauty and performance. He also enjoyed watching old westerns and spending time with his family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, G.W. “Dub” Pickard; wife of 14 years, Evelyn Barnes Pickard; sisters, Della “Dinky” Campbell and Bettye Duncan; granddaughters, Alana and Jennifer Hudson.

He is survived by his mother, Thelma Brisintine Pickard; son, Jerry D. Pickard and wife Cecilly; daughters, Jeri Anne Dowdy and husband Allen, Melony Hudson and husband Robert, Ruby Clare and husband Bill, Christy Sheller and husband Andy; sisters, Paula Powers and husband Clayton, Becky Pickard and husband Mark, Emily Dunn and husband Kirk; grandchildren, Kayne, Danner, Wyatt, Ashley, Jesse, Cody, Angelica, Brooklyn, along with 5 great grandchildren.
