Mr. John William Allison
Funeral services for Mr. John Allison will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2017, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery in Cedar Grove, TN with military honors.
Mr. Allison, age 77, passed away at home December 23, 2017.
He was born in St. Louis, MO to the late Lonnie Allison, Sr. and Bertha Pauline Needham Allison. He was a graduate of Peabody High School in Trenton, TN; was a longtime employee of Brown Shoe Company and had recently retired from Lowes in Jackson; was a veteran of the U.S. Army; member of Northside Assembly of God in Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lonnie Allison, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Shirley McMinn Allison; sons, James Allison and wife Erin, Michael Cooper; daughters, Carole Barrett and husband Wayne, Patricia Lam and husband Joe, Debbie Lynn Maness; sister, Patricia Wolfe and husband Carl; fourteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the Allison family will be held Tuesday, December 26 from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
