John Lewis Cummings, Jr.

Graveside services for Mr. John L. Cummings, Jr. will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Hopewell Cemetery near Medina with Bro. Melvin Allen officiating. Visitation will be held prior from 12 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cummings, 63, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Madison County, TN to the late John L. Cummings, Sr. and Rebecca Sue (Cash) Cummings. John was an employee of Deviney Construction Co.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Cash Cummings; nephew, Clint Mitchell.

John is survived by his sisters, Lorrie Mitchell and husband Roy, Johnna Williams; nephew, Jonathan Williams; nieces, Morgan Lansaw, Rachel Williams; great-niece, Zoe Williams.
