Mrs. Lucy Browning Mozingo

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Mozingo will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Allen Jones and Bro. Steve Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.

Mrs. Mozingo, age 102, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Gibson County in the Medina area to the late Wilburn and Willie Virginia Watt Browning. Mrs. Lucy worked as a grocery clerk in many stores in the area and retired from Union University; was a member of Unity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James M. Mozingo; son, J. C. Thedford; siblings, Onnie Browning, Johnnie Browning.

She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Thedford Rodgers; sisters, Margaret Simons, Bonnie Humphreys; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the Mozingo family will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home and on Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.
