Mr. Mike Ellis

Funeral services for Mr. Mike Ellis will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2020, at Gospel Tabernacle. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 28, 2020, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the church and on Friday from 12 noon until service time.

Mr. Ellis, age 61, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Humboldt, TN to the late Edward “Cotton” and Patricia Johnson Ellis. Mr. Ellis was a longtime employee of Emerson Electric in Humboldt. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, loved to watch wrestling and going fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Phillip Stanley;

He is survived by his son, Jon Ellis and wife Christian; daughter, Chasity Kail; grandchildren, Jonathan Ellis, Liam Ellis, Emily Kail; siblings, Elaine Barnes and husband James, Suzanne Smith, Rebecca Teague, Doug Ellis, Rob Ellis and wife Maureen.
