Funeral services for Mrs. Naomi Darby will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022, with Rev. Mike Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Darby, 94, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022, at NHC in Milan, TN.
She was born in Gibson County, TN to the late J. D. Vaughn and Verla Ann Hicks Vaughn. She was a graduate of Milan High School, Class of 1947. Mrs. Naomi was a homemaker and a faithful member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Bennie Clayburn Darby; infant son, Terry David Darby; brother, R. J. Vaughn; sisters, Myrtle Simons, Beadie Cole, Bertie Lou Derryberry.
She is survived by her son, Tony Darby.
Pallbearers to serve will be: Larry Darby, Lee Darby, Tandy Darby, Rusty Darby, Gary Seavers, Merle Cash.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
