Patricia Ann Rainey Vanalstine

Funeral services for Ms. Patricia Vanalstine will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2021, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Denning officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Ms. Vanalstine, 70, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Patricia was born in Madison County and attended school at Fairview. She loved fishing, taking walks, and was a loving mother and grandmother to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitte and Mary Todd Rainey; siblings, Mack, Jack, Thomas, and Bobby Rainey, Sarah Henley, Nancy Cupples.

She is survived by her children, Johnny Vanalstine (Sarah), Emmitte Vanalstine (Deedee), Clifford Vanalstine (Kristy), Ann Hensley (Tim), Connie Sanders (Leon), Mary Suratt (Jason); brother, Preston Rainey; sisters, Jo Helen Carter, Carolyn Rainey, Billie Rainey; special friend, Chuck Burrson; 26 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.

Those honoring Ms. Vanalstine as pallbearers will be: James Suratt, Troy Vanalstine, Jared Vanalstine, Hayden Vanalstine, Travis Dial, Jimmy Farley.
