Robert (Bobby) Wehner, Jr.

January 5, 1958 — June 27, 2018

Robert (Bobby) Joseph Wehner, Jr.

Heaven gained a fine fellow on June 27, 2018. Bobby, age 60, went to be with his Savior, family and friends that have passed before him. He left this life after a short illness surrounded by those who loved him dearly. Up to the moment of his passing, he displayed courage, strength, and dignity. He was a perfect example to all. Born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky on  January 5, 1958, Bobby was the first born son of Robert and Corinne Parrish Wehner. We know that both embraced him in heaven as only parents can hug a child returning home. He left behind his beloved wife of 34 years, Sherry Hall Wehner , two beautiful daughters, Abby Nicole Wehner Weems (Beau) and Kelli Lynn Wehner(David Wells), two fine grandsons, Joseph Anthony Haines and Thomas Schriver Weems, IV. Both grandsons made his eyes light  up with pride. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a  sister, Treasa  Ann Russell. He is survived by another sister, B. J.Jones and two younger brothers, John Carl Wehner(Suzanne) and Timothy George Wehner (Kimberly). Nieces and nephews are Julie Mansfield Shoaf, Taylor Jane Mansfield Fuller, Casey Mansfield, Kaylie Brooke Wehner, Caroline Corinne Wehner, Curtis Finis Mansfield, Jr., Samuel Joseph Wehner, Isaac Randall Wehner, and William Finis Shoaf.

Bob had a kind heart that showed itself even when he tried to act tough. His simple goodness and willingness to always help family and friends was a perfect example of a loving soul. If you had the pleasure of knowing him, then you were better for it. He will be dearly missed by many. Rest well until we see each other again.
