Sue Carolyn Chandler

Funeral services for Mrs. Sue Chandler will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Pastor Carlos Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Chandler, 78, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Cedar Grove, TN on July 13, 1944, to the late Willie A. Manning and Beatrice Campbell Manning. Sue had previously been employed at the Milan Arsenal, Milan Mills, and most recently with NHC Healthcare in Milan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Carter “J. C.” Chandler; sons-in-law, Harvey Quick, Jr. (Pete), Ronnie Swindell; great-granddaughter, Ashlynn Lewis.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Quick, Deborah Garrett, Rhonda Swindell; grandchildren, Jason Lewis, Crystal Garrett (Scottie), Harmony Lewis, Kristen Bolding, Katelyn Fisher (Brandon); great-grandchildren, Ashton Lewis, Angyl Lewis, Serenity Lewis, Bradley Eddie, Trent Eddie, Layce Eddie, MaKayla Garrett, Aliyah Winsett, Elijah Winsett, Piper Winsett, Creed Farrell, Casen Farrell, Zaidee Bolding, Zayne Bolding, Blu Fisher; great-great-grandchild, Nevaeh Riggs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society or the American Stroke Association.
