Funeral services for Mr. Ted Blankenship will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2020, at The Church at Sugar Creek, with Pastor Don Williams and Dr. Greg McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Blankenship, age 76, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Humboldt, TN where he graduated from Humboldt City Schools and went on to graduate from Lambuth College. Mr. Blankenship was retired from EATON Axle as a quality control engineer.
He was preceded in death by his father, JT Blankenship; brother, Jackie Todd.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Wright Blankenship; mother, Jane Blankenship; son, Matt Blankenship and wife Kimberly; daughters, Cindy Fisher and husband Bret, Susan Growe and husband Brian; brother, Jim Blankenship and wife Elna; sister, Dian Blankenship; grandchildren, Zach Fisher and wife Alex, Allyson Fisher, Molly Growe, Luke Growe, Marshall Growe, Abby Blankenship, Brynlee Blankenship.
Visitation with the Blankenship family will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
