Tony Ray Davidson

Graveside services for Mr. Tony Ray Davidson will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 3 P.M. in Chapel Hill Church Cemetery with Rev. Steven Fonville officiating. Visitation with the family will take place in the cemetery from 2:30 till service time. 

Tony Ray Davidson, age, 83,  passed away at his home in Medina, TN on Monday, September 11, 2023.

Tony was born on August 6, 1940, in Madison County, TN to Raymond Otis Davidson and Irene Robinson Davidson.  

Tony spent his adult life working in construction and retired from H & M construction after working for over 40 years.  After retirement, Tony spent his days at the lake.  He loved crappie fishing on the Tennessee river and knew all the honey holes.  He also loved working in his yard and garden, growing some of the best tomatoes in West Tennessee.    

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Irene Davidson, and his wife of 39 years, Doris McMinn Davidson.  

Tony is survived by a brother, Larry Davidson; sisters, Rose Fry (William) and Karen Blackmon (Billy);  sons, Brad Davidson, and Don (Jeanine) Davidson;  grandchildren, Keith Davidson (Carrie), Jodie Davidson Prince (Tyler), Craig Davidson, and Matt Davidson;  great-grandchildren, Brilee and Presley Davidson and Porter, Millee, and Collins Prince.  He also leaves behind a loving companion of several years, Linda Flowers.
